Artist and illustrator

I created an illustration in collaboration with the amazing Mercury Phoenix Trust team for the Freddie Mercury birthday party, which taken part on the 2nd of September 2023 in Montreux, at the Casinò Barriere. 

The project started as a suggestion from the Mercury Phoenix Trust team to reconnect the 50th anniversary of the release of Queen first album "Queen I". After some drafts and changes, has been chosen to realize an interpretation with my graphic style of the cover of "Queen I" album, which has been approved also by the Queen production team. I've chosen the violet colors, which are dominant in the Queen album, and I've played with the lights to create different shades of colors. 

The graphic image has been used also different uses, like the advertising on Facebook, on Queen Online website but also on the video dislpay at the Casinò Barriere in Montreux. 

Last but not least, the image has been used to be part of the merchandise of the party, like Posters and T-shirts.

The illustration has became an official design of the Mercury Phoenix Trust foundation and had became property of the Queen Production.  Each sale of the tickets and the merchandise has been destined to the Mercury Phoenix Trust association.
